What the News Commentators aren’t Telling You
If you’re like me, you’re probably tired of watching cable news, listening to the commentators complain about President Donald Trump and how miserable it is to live with coronavirus restrictions. Read More
But there’s a bigger issue that’s not being addressed. It’s the United States’ dependence on foreign countries such as China for things such as prescription drugs. This must stop.
When I become your next House Representative in AZ, I plan to be an advocate for bringing pharmaceutical manufacturing jobs to Arizona. No reason it can’t happen because we have the infrastructure, workforce and space.
The Valley is experiencing huge growth and we can expand on that even more by bringing high-paying jobs here. After all, I’m sure you’ll agree, you can’t beat AZ for affordability and lifestyle.
Why in the world am I running for the Arizona State Legislature? I’ve been getting that question a lot lately.
For years I have expressed my disappointment with the politicians and the practices that they follow. I finally came to the realization they were not any more talented than I am. So here I am…running to be a voice for all the generations living in LD 26…because my entire life and career, I have always been a problem-solver.Read More
In my career experiences, I have seen many issues involving victims of fraud, especially with seniors. As a member of the Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club, I see the depravity of poverty and how it affects kids…especially, as it pertains to hunger.
Much time has passed since my days as a young Phoenix cop on the walking beat referred to as “the Duece” (aka Skid Row.) As an investigator for the U S Customs Service, I did everything I could during my 27 years of service to avoid publicity. Yet, the campaign process requires every bit of knowledge, skill and experience that I acquired during those assignments.
The minute I decided to become a candidate in LD 26 for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives, my life got interesting. I needed someone to help handle the overwhelming bureaucratic restrictions on candidates. There was a need for someone to help me through the plethora of public relations needs. My daughters are great with visual expertise and have always helped keep my writings on point.
There are a lot of simple things that can be done, but politicians always find ways to complicate the easy issues. Public schools are hampered by difficult legislative-imposed restrictions and need to be freed up to act more like their private and charter school associates.
I would like to see more public/private programs, fewer tax dollars, and more community control. I will work to help seniors safely keep their independence, make sure food and protection is available for children, and help bring a calm, common sense approach to solving our social problems.
Please, let me hear from you as to what you want for your family, your neighbor, your community. I’m all ears and I’m ready to listen to all generations.
What’s Wrong with More Freedom and Smaller Government?
Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and More Freedom are just polite terms for meaning something harsher according to a Democratic friend. That’s not true. These are not bad things. I believe in and will fight for them when I’m elected to LD 26 as your next House Representative. Read More
What does Smaller Government Mean?
Smaller Government means more relief from governmental regulations resulting in Lower Taxes and More Freedom. In fact, these terms are self-complementary. Lower Taxes and More Freedom both mean Smaller Government.
We are currently living with coronavirus restrictions. These are the huge expansion of government regulations. We as a culture, recognized and understood the emergency (which was the government’s failure to be prepared for such an event). We voluntarily complied and have tolerated the isolation. But we have begun to be restless as we see that restrictions are costing us our freedoms and devastating our economy.
This has been a perfect example of what Socialism can do to a population. What if the people in power decide to implement restrictions because they think the world will end in 12 years or because we use too much water or electricity?
If you listen to what self-proclaimed Socialists say, such things are not only possible but probable.
This is a fight for our freedom. Those who want more restrictive government control cite humanitarian reasons to help the homeless and less fortunate. Never mind they’ll be the people who suffer first and most from socialism. Socialism kills freedom.
Lies, half-truths, misdirection and fear are the tools of socialists. Please fight back.
